1) check the main door. I am sure there are clutter, broken furniture, things that are not required are dumped outside main door, must be dried dead plants with empty pots, broken unusable children's bicycle etc. Clear this at first step now. The mouth of your home that nourishes with chi is blocked so how can you expect money flow. 

2) Two Chinese Bamboo plants or the humble overflowing money plant is magical. you will see fast results. Growing plants is a must with healthy greens at entrance and wealth corner-south east. Take care that the plants must not die here. Other wise place artificial silk plants. Avoid plastic plants.

3) Use dhoop, agarbatti, incense, sage burning to remove negative blocks from your house.

Few crystals of rock salt or white salt(not powdered). Find bird feathers and add 3,5,7 . You can choose black feathers, white, brown depending upon what you find.

If you have one, especially in bedroom then cover it.

The two symbols unite to make a whole, which look like tad poles attached in opposite direction , together to make a complete whole. Usually the yin yang symbol is seen in black and white with two holes in each shape. The two holes represent that each is incomplete without the other. I do advice that your child's age is most important when selecting artwork for their room.Art in your child's room must be bright, colorful and uplifting. Please do not hang landscapes of sceneries and galloping horses paintings in your child's room. people most often buy art for all rooms together , not giving much thought to the children's room.

Fire has been used traditionally to cook food. and still many feng shui practitioners suggest to avoid installing modern cooking equipment in home kitchen. As you enter into a large or small living room the feelings are different and so is the feng shui energy of this house. Explaining in this post why room sizes are important and how proportionate must your house be.

Do not have one room very large and the other very small. This will create imbalance in the homes and within the family. Try to as much as possible balance the rooms. You can have a large common living room for the whole family to be seated comfortably to watch television or entertain guests. The other rooms must be proportionate to each other. The rooms also should be proportionate in shapes of square or rectangles, as irregular shaped rooms, C or semi circle, confuse the chi and leave the feeling of something empty or incomplete. Though this can be easily solved by balancing out this area with a feng shui cure. You can hang mirror to complete the missing part of your room.

Room sizes are very important in feng shui. In feng shui it is believed that the dining room and the kitchen must be spacious. It is directly related to the opportunities and wealth that comes into your family. The dining room must be spacious and members of the family and guests must feel comfortable while eating. In feng shui it is not advisable to decorate or have fancy toilets because this area is where the chi leaves out of your house in large doses, in form of drains, taps and water pipes. The toilet door must not face the main door and must be always closed after use. Never have large toilets and small rooms, it is really very bad for your house and always money will be draining from your house with unexpected large expenses continuously. 

Home Office size- It must never be large than the house rooms. Other wise this affects relationships and peace of inmates. The home office must have good furniture and must be separated from bedroom. If you have home office in living room be sure to add a partition so that work related stress does not mix with family blessings and harmony.

Now the most important part of your home is the center. This is the good luck area of your home. Try to keep it clutter free and spacious. Clean and bright. Do not in any case have a bathroom or kitchen here. This area is the most important area supported by the element earth. Creams, yellows and browns are best here. The center of your home is the best place for a large living room. This area can be larger than the other rooms which must be for common use as a living room or family room. 

Another really important aspect unnoticed is the use of every room. Feng shui brings harmony and balance. It welcomes fresh energy, that is wealth and opportunities.

1) We lay a lot of importance on the whole house decor but the main door is in the usual brown black sunmica laminated! we skip this very important feng shui energy space all together. However much you activate the full house if your main door feng shuii is dull boring or dirty it will affect all sectors of your life. You home will be under nourished from chi. 

2) Name plates are so fancy with elaborate decorations and huge size fonts. i am not against name plates but be careful while choosing a name plate design. your name and family name must be in clear fonts and readable by everyone. imagine chi is  a person bringing parcel of goodluck, will it be able to read your name? if not then you lose on the good feng shui.

3) Put green plants that are tall and bushy. that happens so often I see houses with overflowing pots, this blocks the entrances and even are so overpowering with their tall stems and branches that it hinders walking in. Do understand that many people also do not love huge plants!
4) Large wide mouthed Vases and Antique pots- wide mouthed vases leak chi away. drain wealth sooner. In feng shui we advise to choose Pots and Antique vases with narrow bottom, wide center and narrow mouth. 
5) Empty large Vases again store negative energy and accumulate dark energies. Never have too many empty vases near the entrance, outside or inside. Always put some flowers in them. Real plants are best but even artificial silk flowers do , if cared for properly. 
6) Evil eye has been affecting so many unknowingly. People hardly notice that a wrong intended glance can affect the energy of the house and family. Advisable to hang an evil eye cure near the main door entrance, outside or inside. This must be visible to the viewer for it to work for you. 
7) It is important to hang evil eye cures that would work! most of the evil eye cures available in market are incomplete and commercially made without any symbolism and incomplete images bring out more negative energy. They are so small, sometimes chipped, broken, and also with incomplete symbols, no wonder they do not show any results for evil eye protection!
8) Loss of Wealth symbols- paintings with water flowing outside. Horse paintings in which horses are galloping in a direction out of the house or galloping in different directions. Single objects , hung near the entrance bring loneliness and money leaves your house. 
9) Having fish tank near entrances! Main door, very very important, please do not put fish tanks near main door. First of all water, I advise to avoid near main door. Usually even if north sector falls near the main door avoid placing water, you can hang water feng shui paintings, that too chosen carefully understanding their symbolism , if you wish to activate wealth sector. 

10) Shoe racks outside the main door with scattered shoes lying outside is really very very bad feng shui. Each shoe lying there will take away precious chi coming to your house and also accumulate a lot of negative energy that will spread to your house.

11) Another very important thing is so many people put broken objects, old furniture, unused things outside. Within few months it becomes like a dumping ground outside your main entrance. Please do not keep broken things, broken vases, outside main door, it will bring back problems and kidney issues in your family members.

12) the door frame is never given consideration. Dehleez, stepping stone ,border of the door frame is utmost important. It must be firm to hold door securely. Not chipped, cracked,or broken. If the stone frame is broken this causes energy leaks, meaning more expenses, more financial losses, more money going away from the house instead of coming in.

7) Do you work from home? and have a office table and printer, chair etc in bedroom? This is really bad feng shui. Sometimes due to space crunch you may have to make shift office in bedroom.
