When there are frequent bickering about health and everyone seems to be low on energy then music can help to uplift the energy of your home and increase motivation and energy levels in your home and family. Music has been used to help assist in healing many illnesses and stress related problems and music can be effectively used to cure and uplift the energy of your home.

1) Identify the energy in your home - Usually having too much yin or yang is the problem. Passive energy that is too much quiet environment will affect adversely on the energy levels of the members of your family. Too loud talking and very talkative  people also create imbalance and unrest in the family with hyper activated energy. 
2)  clear the clutter and energize the whole house by cleaning all furniture, windows, doors and walls. Burn a pleasant fragrant incense to clear off the negative energy or too much yin energy that has accumulated over the years. Music needs to find space to spread energy.
3) Do remember to ring the bell in corners and dark spots of your home. You can also put on your religious music or chants in your home to purify the area and clear off the negative energy, provided the sound is in limit and does not disturb your neighbors. 
4) use music regularly for seeing changes. Since the stagnated energy has accumulated over the years you must give at least three months time for improvement to be seen. Do play the feng shui music cure regularly once a week for at least three months and see the difference in energy levels of the members of your home.
5) Choose music carefully. We find a lot of varied music on You tube and a lot of healing artists and Reiki healers have put up music to listen to. there are also free soft sounds, background music and meditation music. 6) For Yin and for Yang keep the balance in music.  So once in a while do play loud rock,  punk rock music for the happiness of your teen children , to spread Yang energy. Go in for soft music if your family has loud conversations (arguments) , this will help ease out and soothe minds and make everyone relaxed and refreshed. 
7) Keep changing the music, one type become boring and  monotonous and after few days it may not show you the desired energy results. So you can have a few collection of favorite feng shui, relaxation , healing  music albums  and play them alternately .  
You will see happiness and good health and strong motivation to work and creativeness will increase in all fields. Feng shui your kitchen with music and it will improve the mood of the cook, your family and eating time will be a refreshing time. Listen to Music that you love! Music in feng shui has an important role in healing spaces.  Activating energy, filling the emptiness and driving away negative energy! It will also remove strong blocks in spaces and dark corners if used correctly.  Soft tones, Pleasant and soothing music is considered very good feng shui and can be used effectively as a feng shui cure. Today we see in health spas, meditation centres and healing clinics music that is specifically designed and recorded for them is played and this assists in healing. 
As we know bedroom and home feng shui energy is a balance of yin and yang that is strong and subdued, light and dark and black and white. An imbalance or having one energy in higher rate will spoil the harmony of your home and result in restlessness, lethargy and weakness along with less motivation to work. The result is poor health and slow business which will affect adversely your health, wealth and prosperity , and also of your family and total members at home.

Here we hardly consider the age of child and that they have perspectives  different than ours, and our likes and choices would not necessarily be that of your young one. Hence many parents complain of children being bored, tired, dull and irritable. they cannot focus on studies and have no true friends.

Balancing the five elements is the thumb rule of feng shui. Even in children’s bedroom, try to use furniture and objects of decor keeping this in mind. 

7)avoid any furniture, object or toy that has sharp edges. These emit negative arrows and are always harmful for your child. Over head beams must be taken care of in children’s bedroom as they may get hurt while playing. Try to keep some floor space clear for them to play freely as when their bedroom is congested there will be no place for positive chi to enter the room and your child may end up with boredom and always look dull with lack of energy. 

With small children or new born children it is very important to consider their age and their requirements before choosing any furniture or decor. Very young babies can have colourful rooms, except for yellow which is thought to bring about excitement and makes babies irritable and prone to crying. Red and orange which are bright colours also need not be in very high proportions as we want our babies to be relax and have precious sleep during sleeping hours, which these colours do not promote as they are known to increase activity and excitement. Boys rooms can be in blue or green whereas girls room can be in pink, peach, lilac or other pastel shades. Decorate the children’s bedroom with colourful pictures, toys and other sound decorations or wind chimes. Take care to avoid sharp objects, very heavy toys and furniture having sharp corners. Go along with latest ternds for childrens bedrooms but keep feng shui tips in mind. We also see fantasy themes, cartoon character themes for childrens bedrooms in latest decor. choose according to their likes and preferences of your child , and keep in mind the size, otherwise they end up scared by the large hooded batman!

For bigger children keep their play area clean and organised, I know this is next to impossible for the little ones but it is better to clear away the clutter in few days so that they do not accidentally trip or fall over the toys displayed for playing.Give them a positive enriching environment which caters to all their senses and then see how your little flower blooms into a healthy and well adjusted individual.
