 Feng shui is a science of balance of the five elements and even though literally it means wind and water, feng shui is being practised in all aspects of li9fe be it your home, office, pet , plants and even you car! Feng shuing your car or vehicle will ensure that your vehicle does not give you many problems and runs smoothly with less petrol consumption and will minimise problems of break down and start up. . Use feng shui tips for your car but do try to follow the principles of saving petrol by switching off your engine during signals.

Your car, bike or motor cycle like your home is a very important part of your life. Be it a two wheeler or a four wheeler the vehicle ensures that your each your destination on time and in good spirits. Usual problems coming up are breakdowns, more petrol consumption than other same make vehicles, breaking up of parts, start up problems etc. The same principles that work for your home or office will be considered in feng shuing your vehicle or car.

Finally do consider parking space and position according to feng shui. Never park your car or have any car parked right in front of your main door entrance facing inwards. This creates negative energy and a shar for the inmates of the house. Park the vehicle side ways facing the road and not your main door. Also when you have other people sitting or taking a lift in your car do purify it from the negative energy that they bring along by burning incense and purifying and activating the chi around.

It has been said by many Feng Shuii Masters that keeping birds in cages is not good feng shui. They are born free and must live like that. I do have my opinion on this.Yes it is true that birds increase the chi of your home. They are lively, active and their sounds and chirping definitely increases the environment vibrations and brings about positive energy into your home.
Yes karmic interpretations does not allow to cage and free living bird, but if you have already pet birds please do not abandon them. This is what happened with me and my love continued with Mitthin Alexandrine parrot coming from the sky for many years in my life who taught me pure love and compassion, I had to add some birds and thus began my love for budgie love birds.
 It is true that you must not bind the bird into a small cage, but you can make a spacious cage for them with all the amenities for their enjoyment and relation. I have seen people offer so much love to parakeets that even after leaving them far away the friendly birds find their way back home, because they are partners for life and they never forget your love and care. I have also seen that birds give back the love many folds that which we give them, as their love is unconditional and without any bias.
Take care of your pet birds with love, care, hobbies, play time, healthy diet and good medical care for inviting Universe blessings.

I think that keeping them forcefully in bad conditions would affect your health and career as well as finances adversely. In feng shui masters believe that keeping birds restricted in cage would also keep your life feeling restricted and not grow to you full potential.
You can keep rare birds especially love birds who are breed in controlled conditions and are not well equipped with the laws of nature. If left on their own they would be feasted upon by some large bird! It is necessary that you allow your bird pet some time out regularly from their cage or home. Do take acre to keep the windows and doors closed as they may suffer from some accident when left without supervision for flying.
Our Parakeet has come to stay with us since the past two years and flies freely for the whole day and rests in afternoons and night inside our home. She does not need any supervision and is trained to eat from her dishes and loves fresh fruits and vegetables. We were lucky enough that she chose our home to stay and has been staying outside on our window sill for many months when during winters we let her in. and the rest is history! she has now become the head of the family, we have to consider her wishes when we eat and she loves to eat from our plate.Special foods are prepared and fruits of her liking are searched and brought for her.Our love birds are also very loving and caring and they do take some time out but are eager to go into their safe home.This all requires patience and training and lots of love and you get back many folds. And of course the mynas, sparrows and pigeons, the crows who get regular feedings daily from our home.

Birds bring positive chi into your home. They will increase the positivity and remove all negative energies form your place. But do take care never to neglect or abuse them Never get angry on your pets, a firm no is understood by them.

It is advisable to avoid keeping birds in cages which are too small for them. This will bring about feelings of restrictions to them as well as you and your whole family. If they can fly inside and play it is the best feng shui cure for many problems in your life. Keeping them in the south area will activate your fame and recognition aspect of life. Keeping them in the north or north west will bring about great helpful friends into your life as well as their chirping will increase the chi around your home bringing new opportunities your way.

We all know the happiness when parents or children get when they are selected to join a reputed school. And also when your are trying so hard to join a reputed company with a large pay slip you try your best to get  selected. Simple feng shui tips when followed for preparing for your interviews will help you to hasten the selection process and also improve your chances of selection.

Home Rooms Sizes and Room Divisions Guide in Feng Shui

Home Room sizes and home room divisions are very important in feng shui. In feng shui it is believed that the dining room and the kitchen must be spacious. It is directly related to the opportunities and wealth that comes into your family. 

As in feng shui the dining room must be spacious and members of the family and guests must feel comfortable while eating. The seating arrangements in your dining room are directly related to the career and wealth prosperity of your home, so all must be seated comfortable without and negative shars to enjoy their meals.

Many people also prefer to have the dining area along side the living room to create a feeling of openness and spaciousness.

Do not have one room very large and the other very small. This will create feng shui imbalance in the homes and within the family. Try to as much as possible balance the rooms. You can have a large common living room for the whole family to be seated comfortably to watch television or entertain guests. The other rooms must be proportionate to each other. 
The home rooms also should be proportionate in shapes of square or rectangles, as irregular shaped rooms, C or semi circle, confuse the chi and leave the feeling of something empty or incomplete. Though this can be easily solved by balancing out this area with a feng shui cure. You can hang mirror to complete the missing part of your room.

The feng shui bedroom must be comfortable with bed, wardrobe and side tables or dressing area for the couple. The bedroom must be farthest away from the main door to give good rest and undisturbed sleep for good health. This is essential because the main door will have too much noise and disturbance form outside which will affect your sleep.

Avoid clutter in any form in your home.Visible as well as hidden clutter needs to be cleaned regularly.

Your feng shui bathrooms and toilets must not have overly large areas. In feng shui it is not advisable to decorate or have fancy toilets because this area is where the chi leaves in large doses, in form of drains, taps and water pipes. The toilet door must not face the main door and must be always closed after use.

Now the most important part of your feng shui home is the centre. This is the good luck area of your home. Try to keep it clutter free and spacious. Clean and bright. Do not in any case have a bathroom or kitchen here. This area is the most important area supported by the element earth. Creams, yellows and browns are best here. The centre of your home is the best place for a large living room. This area can be larger than the other rooms which must be for common use as a living room or family room.
